Justdriveapparel was born during one of the lowest points in my life. I’ve always loved two things—playing basketball and driving fast cars—but when I lost my BMW 340i M Sport, it felt like I lost more than just a car. I felt broken, out of control, and unsure of where my life was headed. To cope, I started playing basketball every chance I got.

While on the court, I realized something about myself—I was always playing defense, never offense. I wasn’t bringing the ball up, wasn’t making plays or taking shots. And I saw how this mirrored my real life. I was always reacting, blocking, and protecting myself, but I was never making moves or taking control.

In basketball, when you’re on offense, they call it ‘driving to the basket.’ When you’re behind the wheel of a car, it’s called driving. The word ‘drive’ stuck with me. It became a reminder that I needed to stop just surviving and start taking charge. As women, we often find ourselves stuck in defense mode, protecting what we have but rarely making bold moves to take what we want.

That’s where Justdriveapparel came from—a mindset to always be in the driver’s seat, whether it’s on the court, in a car, or in life. I created this brand so I’d never again let someone take away what I love without a fight. And I want it to inspire others to play offense and take control of their lives too.
